For an overnight stay it was perfect for us. The walk into Vichy centre is slightly more than the 5 minutes stated on the website but it is a pleasant stroll along the riverside so passes very quickly.

The only negative was that the toilet WC had not been cleaned properly with remains of last guest!

We went for the Ironman and overall it met our needs. The only downside was no air conditioning or fans. It was far too hot to not have AC.
